Corporate Tax focuses on courses covering corporate taxation. These courses are generally on higher level technical topics that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on corporate tax engagements. Individual Tax provides courses designed to enhance the basic knowledge of the staff member in the area of individual taxation. This section also includes courses on higher level technical topics that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on individual tax engagements. Pass-Through Entities Tax includes tax training courses for Partnerships, S Corporations and Limited Liability Companies (LLC). These courses address the specialized tax treatment for these entities. The courses build on the tax staff’s basic knowledge in this area and then progress through more advanced topics that will allow the staff member to assume more responsibilities for these engagements. Small Business Tax focuses on courses covering specific tax issues related to small businesses and their owners. These courses are designed to build on the tax staff’s basic knowledge of business taxation. Higher level technical topics are also included that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on small business tax engagements.
